Black History Month February 2020 Celebrations in Orange County

Black History Month 2020

February marks Black History Month — a time to reflect on, recognize, and honor the invaluable contributions of African Americans who have strengthened, inspired, and empowered our nation’s economic, political, cultural and social landscape. In that spirit, it is important that we also acknowledge the struggle for freedom, equal rights, and injustices that are still evident today. Throughout the month of February, there will be several opportunities to celebrate here in Orange County. We encourage everyone to attend these events in our community to celebrate this important observance, and to continue to work toward the goal of liberty and justice for all.
