- Reports for Stormwater Utility, Economic Development, Fire and Police: The Council received all reports.
- Request to Issue Permit for the Sladesign Fashion Show 2021: ROOTS: The Council approved a Street Closing Permit Application submitted by Independent Artist Marcela Slade/ Orange County Arts Commission for the Sladesign Fashion Show.
- Conditional Use Permit for The ArtsCenter at 315 Jones Ferry Road: The Town Council approved a conditional use permit application for The ArtsCenter’s plan for a new two-story building. The $5.5 million building will replace the nonprofit arts agency’s longtime home at 300 E. Main St. Its future home will be located across from OWASA near the intersection of Jones Ferry Road and Barnes Street. In response to input from the community and advisory boards, the Council approved the development on a 1.36-acre site with conditions, including that the developer provide a detailed a stormwater system maintenance plan. The project will include permeable pavers that let water through to the soil, as well as an underground stormwater storage and sand filter systems. Plans call for 41 vehicle and 16 bicycle parking spaces.
- Westwood Cemetery Draft Report: The Council received the draft report.
- Transportation Projects Update: The Town Council received information about the status of various transportation projects around Town.
- Information on Text Amendments Required as part of G.S. Chapter 160D, Part 3: The Town Council received the third installment of draft text amendments to the Land Use Ordinance required by the adoption of G.S. Chapter 160D.
