CARRBORO, N.C. -- Mayor Lydia Lavelle has proclaimed Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021, (the Saturday after Thanksgiving) as Small Business Saturday in Carrboro.
“I urge the residents of our community to support small businesses and merchants on Small Business Saturday and throughout the year,” Mayor Lavelle said.
The Town of Carrboro supports our local businesses that create jobs, boost our local economy, and preserve our communities. There are more than 387 small businesses in Carrboro, making up 96% of all business in town. Small businesses in our town employ over 2,500 people and provide over $93 million in payroll.
