| STAFF ACCOUNTANT – Management Services Dept. Full-time/Permanent. Maintains general ledger; performs month-end and annual accounting system closings; prepares journal entries and reconciliations, budget amendments and transfers; reviews monthly trial balance and balance sheet; assists with annual audit; serves as accounting system administrator; maintains fixed asset records; primary backup for payroll processing. Requires BA degree in accounting or related field; 3 to 5 years of experience with G/L control and maintenance; public financial management or governmental accounting and auditing. Requires attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Hiring range: $49,948-$54,298. Closing date: June 7, 2013. |
