The Skylight Gallery, Hillsborough Artist Cooperative, 102 West King Street, located in downtown Hillsborough upstairs over Antonia’s restaurant presents "Creative Quilt Design" by Marga de Bruijn, April 26 - May 26, 2019.
Most of Marga's quilts are constructed out of basic geometric shapes
(squares, triangles, diamonds). The light incorporated through the unique use of
color gives a sense of depth beyond what form can provide.

Puppet Show Incorporated https://www.puppetshowinc.org/ presents the fractured fairy tale performance of The Three Billy Goats at Troll Bluff. Activities include a story time, puppet show and make and take art activity. Puppetry programs will be held at the following community locations. Recommended ages are 4-8.

Join the Haw River Assembly from 4-8 pm on Saturday, May 4th for an afternoon of live music from Triangle Afrobeat Orchestra, Honey Magpie, and Ragweed Brass, the opening of the Saxapahaw farmers market season, a Paperhand Puppet parade, a guided river walk, canoe rides for kids, a kayak raffle, a silent auction, food trucks, and more at the Haw River Festival in Saxapahaw. Festival entry is FREE, and all donations collected during the festival support the Haw River Assembly’s work to protect the river. Each year over 1,000 people come out for this annual celebration of the river! This event kicks off the season for Saturdays in Saxapahaw, with bands and the farmers market throughout the summer.
