| What Does Animal Control Do? |

| Officers respond to complaints concerning animal bites, public nuisances, neglect, cruelty, stray, lost, and injured animals. Animals picked up are impounded at the Orange County Animal Shelter. Animal Control is responsible for enforcing laws on a state and local level. Officers also provide information and education to citizens. |
