Directions to the Carrboro Town Hall and Century Center
From I- 40 (from Raleigh and points east):
o Take I-40 West to Exit 273 A towards Chapel Hill
o Turn right onto Highway 54 West off the exit ramp
o Pass through eighth stop lights
o After Eighth stop light merge into the far right lane
o Exit right onto 15-501 South after the underpass
o Follow 15-501 South
o When you see the sign for 15-501 South, Pittsboro, do
not exit to the right, keep straight, you are now on Hwy
54 West.
o From Hwy. 54 West, turn right onto the Merritt Mill
Road/S. Greensboro Street exit
o Turn left onto Merritt Mill Road
o Turn right at the stop light onto S. Greensboro Street
o Keep straight to the next stop light (intersection of
Main Street and Greensboro)(Wendy's on your left)- Turn
Left to go to the Carrboro Town Hall or straight ahead
for the Century Center.
The Century Center is the large red brick building on
the right (the block between Main Street and Weaver Street).
Carrboro Town Hall and Town Commons is on the left of
Main Street (at the intersection of Main and Weaver Street)
-next to the Fire Station.
From I- 85 South and I-40 East (coming from Charlotte,
Winston-Salem, Greensboro):
o Take I-40 East towards Raleigh
o Take Exit 266, turn right off the ramp onto Airport
Road (Hwy 86)
o Go 7 stop lights, at the 7th light turn right onto
Estes Road
o At the end of Estes Road (2nd stop light) turn left
onto N. Greensboro Street
o Drive past Harris Teeter (on the left)
o Keep straight. Go through traffic light (intersection
of Weaver Street and N. Greensboro)- Turn right onto
Weaver Street to go to the Carrboro Town Hall or straight
ahead for the Century Center.
The Century Center is the large red brick building on
the left
The Town Hall and Town Commons will be straight ahead
at the intersection of Weaver Street and Main Street-
next to the Fire Station
From Interstate 85 North and 40 West (from Durham and
points north):
o Follow I-85 South, exit onto Hwy 15-501 South/Chapel
Hill area
o Follow Hwy. 15-501 South towards Chapel Hill across
the bridge (over I-40)
o Pass Lowe's Home and Garden Store on your right and
Hardees on your left
o When you see the sign for 15-501 South, Pittsboro,
do not exit to the right, keep straight, you are now
on Hwy 54 West.
o From Hwy. 54 West, keep straight on 15-501 and take
the Merritt Mill Road/S. Greensboro Street exit
o Turn left onto Merritt Mill Road
o Turn right at the stop light onto S. Greensboro Street
o Keep straight to the next stop light (intersection
of Main Street and Greensboro)(Wendy's on your left)-
Turn Left to go to the Carrboro Town Hall or straight
ahead for the Century Center.
The Century Center is the large red brick building on
