ELIZABETH NORVAL

Join Peter Rabbit as he explores Mr. McGregor's garden. Elizabeth Norval of the Zambezi Puppets will transport you to the English garden where Peter Rabbit has many adventures. Her body puppet, Gulliver Gator, will introduce the show and lead some sing-a-longs. Next, a silly tiger will try out for the circus. Last, the audience will have fun helping a friendly puppet snake catch his dinner.

Elizabeth Norval grew up in South Africa. She began experimenting with puppets as a child of eleven, when she and her friends performed with match box puppets they had crafted. Eight years later she constructed a set of puppets to use as teaching tools for her first graders. Elizabeth moved to Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) with her husband in 1974. When her sons had birthday parties, she performed for them. After building a stage, she began performing at schools and clubs. When she moved with her family to Gainesville, Florida, in 1990, she established the Zambezi Puppets. Her early shows revolved around a set of puppets created to depict life in Zimbabwe.

JUS PATRICK

A singer/songwriter since the age of 16, Patrick presents a sound that is unreserved, each note filled with gripping passion. At a young age, local talent show opportunities near Patrick's hometown of Eden, NC began to create a platform for him to perform at larger venues on the east coast. After much encouragement from radio personalities to put out an album, Patrick released "Complex Simplicities of Love" under his co-founded independent record label, True2Life Entertainment. After selling out the entire stock in a matter of months, Patrick began working on his full-length album. The author of numerous songs, Patrick writes his own material while working in tandem with True2Life Entertainment's in-house production team and associated producers to create music for other artists. Patrick's debut album captures his early roots in gospel and classical music, while showcasing his pop and hip-hop cultural influences.
