Carrboro Frederick Douglass July 4th Essay Reading & Community Celebration

In celebration of July 4th, the Town of Carrboro will be returning to a limited in-person community event. Our featured event will be the 8th Annual Reading of Frederick Douglass' July 4th Essay at 12:00pm at Town Commons. The community reading will be followed by a musical performance from Tre. Charles at 2:00pm. Both events will also be livestreamed via YouTube.com/CarrboroNC. At 4:00pm, the Town and the Cat's Cradle will present a livestreaming concert featuring local favorites, Mix Tape Grab Bag. Visit the website link below for updates!
