For open areas, we kindly ask for everyone’s cooperation as we implement these social distancing measures, request face coverings be worn, and any other best practices when visiting the parks. .

Please note during the Governor’s recent press conference, he was talking about state parks and not local parks.  Our local Town of Carrboro parks will remain operating as we have been in recent weeks and as outlined above.

The Town will continue to work with other local and regional agencies and monitor the situation so that we keep the well-being and safety of the public first. We will provide updates as they occur.

If you have any questions, please contact our main office at 919.918.7364 during normal business hours, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm.
