Are you looking for an opportunity to use art as a means to express what you may be feeling: hopefulness, making a difference in our community, uncertainty, a desire to strengthen justice and liberty for all? As a result of community requests, we are making paint boards available through July 30th. These boards are typically installed annually during our July 4th event. However, we are making them available for citizens to use for art therapy and expression. Bring your art supplies and feel free to express yourself in a shared space with others. The paint boards are located on the front lawn of Town Hall adjacent to the Fire Department.
We encourage anyone coming out and participating to practice safe social distancing and follow the requirements of the recent Orange County emergency declaration requiring face coverings be worn. See this link for more details: http://www.co.orange.nc.us/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=533
