The Carrboro Town Council met virtually Tuesday, March 2, and took the following actions on the agenda at https://bit.ly/3st0Reg
- Maple Avenue Right of Way Public Hearing: The Council rescheduled a public hearing to April 6 on a request to permanently close a portion of the Maple Avenue right-of-way.
- Business Revolving Loan Application: The Council approved a revolving loan application for $60,000 to Tesoro, a pasta-based restaurant coming to Weaver Street this spring.
- Public Hearing for a Conditional Use Permit for a Watershed Residential Subdivision at 721 Jones Ferry Road: The Council opened a public hearing and continued it until March 9. Mr. Phil Szostak has submitted a conditional use permit application to subdivide a 6.79 acre lot at 721 Jones Ferry Road to create a second lot.
