Past Meetings 

The Carrboro Town Council met Friday, March 24, 2023, for a Legislative Breakfast with NC Representatives Renée Price (District 50) and Allen Buansi (District 56) and NC Senator Graig Meyer (District 23) to discuss local priorities. The Carrboro Town Council met Tuesday, March 21, 2023, for Council Meeting and took the following actions on the agenda posted at https://bit.ly/3JQdtpY

• Adopted a 2023 Earth Hour Resolution - https://www.carrboronc.gov/2630/Proclamations-and-Resolutions 
• Authorized the Town Manager to sign Greene Tract deeds associated with the property recombination to allow for the transfer of property with the Towns of Carrboro and Chapel Hill.
• Set a public hearing date for May 23, 2023, to discuss the proposed Jade Creek subdivision project and associated Special Use Permit-A for 8522 Old NC 86. If approved, the permit will allow for the construction of 72 single-family homes.
• Made appointment to the Racial Equity Commission - Donald Hawkins (reappointment)

The Town Council, which is the legislative and policy-making body for Carrboro, comprises Mayor Damon Seils, Mayor Pro Tempore Susan Romaine, Council Member Barbara Foushee, Council Member Randee Haven-O’Donnell, Council Member Danny Nowell, Council Member Eliazar Posada, and Council Member Sammy Slade.
