CARRBORO, NC – Orange County Creek Week takes place March 21-29 — a week full of fun, water-themed activities and events for individuals or the whole family! Participating is a great way to give back, meet others in the community, learn about water and the environment, and make a visible difference in our community.

Orange County Creek Week Kick-Off

The Creek Week Kickoff Event provides an education and engagement opportunity by connecting government resources and nonprofit organizations with area residents. The event includes outreach tables, a speaker series, and free activities related to the environment and water resources.
Community Cleanup & Litter Sweep

Libba Cotten Bike Path by Lower Municipal Lot 7

Roll up your sleeves and help keep our community beautiful! We’ll gather at 10 a.m. at the Libba Cotten Bike Path, meeting at Carrboro’s Lower Municipal Lot behind 300 E. Main Street (entrance off Boyd Street). From there, volunteers will be assigned to nearby cleanup locations to make a big impact together.
