The Town of Carrboro will be installing a protected bike lane along the eastbound lanes of Jones Ferry Road between the N.C. 54 highway eastbound ramps and Barnes Street.
Workers will be present in the roadway beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11, and work is expected to be completed before 4 p.m.
Work zone traffic control devices will be in place to protect workers performing the installation. Please use caution when driving through the work zone. Rain days for the installation would be either Thursday, Aug. 12, or Wednesday, Aug. 18.
